Alexandros obtained his LL.B. from the University of Sheffield, an MA in Politics and Contemporary History from London Guildhall University and an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law. He is admitted to the bars of Cyprus and New York.

He joined the Litigation Department of Chrysses Demetriades & Co Law Office in 1998 and the Company Department in 2003, where he specializes in Competition Law and EU Law in general, as well as in selected aspects of Internet Law and E-Commerce. He is also a part-time lecturer at Intercollege.

Alexandros has practiced law in New York and Brussels as a foreign and visiting attorney respectively. He also spent a year (under a fixed term contract) as a legal advisor to the Chairman of the Cyprus Commission for the Protection of Competition (2002).

He lectures European Internal Market (UCL LL.M. course), EC Competition Law and UK Constitutional & Administrative Law (civil liberties aspect) alternately between the semesters at Intercollege. He is also a frequent speaker at events organized by the Cyprus Academy of Public Administration (of the Ministry of Finance) as part of a team of experts in EU affairs.

He is a frequent speaker in both national and international seminars and conferences and has authored several articles on Competition Law and Internet Law and E-Commerce.
