Sofi has practiced as an advocate in Cyprus since 1997 and has dealt with and gained considerable knowledge and experience in relation to company, shipping, corporate, commercial, international trade and banking law.

In 2005, Sofi joined Chrysses Demetriades & Co. LLC and since then has been involved in a wide range of ship finance work acting for the world's leading banks and ship owners in connection with the financing of both second-hand and new building vessels (including cruise ships, tankers and pleasure yachts), oil rigs and the sale and purchase of vessels, in drafting and negotiating financing agreements and security documents in relation to a wide range of financing arrangements (including single bank and syndicated loan facilities).

Sofi has been a speaker in international conferences and has authored several articles on company law and banking law. She is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
