She regularly advises major corporate groups on intricate shareholders’ agreements, trust deeds, and matters related to shareholder disputes, directors’ duties, and corporate governance.
Michaela’s sector expertise is broad and she advises major local clients in the shipping, insurance and banking sectors on a regular basis.
Michaela has significant experience representing international credit institutions and large conglomerates in high-value international financing transactions involving Cyprus companies. She assists clients with multimillion-euro debt restructurings, including loan and security restructurings, company restructurings, and settlement plans with creditors approved by relevant authorities.
Additionally, Michaela has expertise in derivative transactions and provides regular advice to international banks on ISDA documentation.
