With over 25 years of experience, Michalis practices in corporate, commercial, banking, labour and sports law. He provides strategic legal advice to corporations, including guidance at the Shareholders and Board of Directors level.
He is actively involved in negotiating collective agreements and has been appointed as an arbitrator for labour issues by the Ministry of Labour. Additionally, he works closely with liquidators to ensure compliance and the effective resolution of complex legal matters.
Michalis holds various leadership roles, including President of the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Executive Committee of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and serves as a Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of a regulated by the Central Bank of Cyprus, as well as serving in non-executive Board of Directors positions for other organizations.
His previous positions include Vice Chairman of the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority and membership in the UEFA Legal Committee. Currently, he is a member of the Appeals Committee of the Cyprus Football Association, which is responsible for the financial criteria of Cyprus football teams.
