ANDREAS CHARALAMBOUS

Andreas practices both civil and criminal litigation. He specializes in various fields of commercial and corporate litigation including shareholders’ disputes, recognition and enforcement proceedings, obtaining and defending interim injunctive reliefs, corporate frauds, assets recovery and contractual disputes. He is specialized in Financial Services and is professionally qualified by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CYSEC) and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) in this area of law. He has vast experience in personal injuries claims as he regularly advises a number of insurance companies. He also deals with disputes involving the admiralty jurisdiction. He has been defending complicated criminal cases involving a wide range of serious crimes not only before the Courts of the Republic but also before the Courts of the Sovereign Base Areas. Andreas regularly advises the British Forces Cyprus and the UK Secretary of State for Defense over various matters. In 2010 he was appointed as a criminal investigator of the Independent Authority for the Investigation of Allegations and Complaints Against the Police.
