As the global Covid-19 public health emergency continues to spread affecting families and businesses worldwide we at Chrysses Demetriades & Co. LLC have as our principal concern not only the humanitarian nature of the pandemic, but also what we can do to ensure that we are available to service the needs of our clients in a way that safeguards our people and the public at large.
As of 16 March 2020 the government of the Republic of Cyprus has placed Cyprus in a state of emergency issuing from time to time various orders and directives to combat the pandemic. As a result public service is now operating on a skeleton staff basis and delays in its response are expected.
Our firm’s management is and will continue to be on alert, discussing regularly, sharing information and taking remedial action as and when required. In this respect it has put together mechanisms whereby client’s needs will be dealt with via conference calls/video calls, emails or phone calls and clients should not hesitate to contact the partner or lawyer of the firm who is dealing with their affairs when they require assistance.
As always the firm remains committed and available to address any matter or concern on a 24/7 basis.
At these difficult times the assistance and understanding of all is necessary so as to stop the spread of Covid-19, while servicing in a safe manner the needs of clients.
