TONIA GREGORIOU

Tonia deals with general litigation matters. She has extensive knowledge and experience in Banking Litigation, including the relevant legislation, case law and regulations, in relation to which she provides consultation to various clients of the Firm and represents them before Courts of all levels in Cyprus.

Commercial litigation is also an area Tonia is heavily involved with. She mainly focuses on the preparation of all kinds of company applications and appears before Cyprus Courts to obtain the relevant orders.

Tonia is a senior member of our Banking Litigation Team. She advises a number of local and foreign financial institutions on a variety of Finance transactions involving Debt Finance. Tonia assists banking and other institutions, such as investment funds, in procedures relating to Receiver and Manager matters and regarding rights in relation to debentures (floating charges). She advises banks and other institutions regarding procedural steps in relation to the enforcement of obtained judgments, as well as the enforcements of securities, such as mortgages (foreclosure).

Furthermore, she has experience with applications in the Administrative Court, as well as cases involving Employment Law.

Tonia has been a member of the Judicial Committee of the District Football Association of Limassol since 2012 and has been serving as its president since 2016. In addition, Tonia has been a member of the Board of the Athletic Union of Limassol (AEL) Club since 2018.
